Who's gonna end up being the Democratic presidential nominee in 2020 & why?

The conventional front runner seems to be Joe Biden, pockets of the left end of the spectrum like Bernie and Warren, Yang has sort of a millennial cult following and Buttegeig seems to have big money backing him. Who do y’all think it’s going to be?

In all honesty it’s most likely going to be Joe Biden. I don’t think the Democrats are going to win in 2020 though… So brace yourselves for Trump’s second term

I think itll be Joe or Bernie. Most likely Joe. I hope its Bernie Sanders but I just dont see the potential.

Still lots of debates to go but Biden with Sanders and Warren appear to have the edge.

Bernie seems to be a solid runner up in Iowa with the #1 spot in New Hampshire.

Joe leads national polls, but runs #3 (and #4 in some polls) in Iowa and NH.

I think given Sanders’ fervent following and no clear “establishment” candidate, it’s easy to see him tortoise and the hare-ing his way to walking away with this thing.

I hope it’s Bernie, but I know the DNC will never let that happen. The DNC already proved to us that they would rather see Trump win than run Sanders. I most definitely can’t vote for Joe, no matter what. But I really can’t vote for anyone the DNC runs if they cheat Sanders again like they did in 2016. Their rigged primary system is a joke. So Bernie or bust, I left the democratic party in 2016, no plans to return until they show me something better.

If Sanders doesn’t drop out you can still vote for him right?

So you are saying that if the Nominee isn’t Bernie, you are voting for Trump?

Joe. I think they feel they’re in for a big fight and odds are already against them. Very few times have we swapped parties mid stream and never when the economy is doing well. Establishment matter this time.

Bernie. America is ready for someone who pushes change instead of the status quo.

Joe has been in Washington for 30 years and represents the establishment, he’s enriched himself and his family while being on the wrong side of most major events in that time. Plus his age has taken a toll on him and he comes across as a phony. It appears it will be Bernie which is a frightening proposition. His health plan alone will cost 96 trillion over ten years while the country only takes in 97 trillion over ten years. No wonder he supports “bread lines” as a good thing.
