Should we use dark mode or light mode as the default for new users?

I think if we are expecting an influx of people, including older generations, it is more beneficial to have it start as dark mode because it protects people’s eyes. Older generations may not always know that certain websites have standard light/dark mode or how to activate it, but younger people would be able to switch it back if they preferred retina burning white lol

I’ve changed it to dark mode by default.
