How has the recent political climate affected you in your day to day life? Has it had any impact or is it just on social media?
Do you find yourself not saying something because you don’t want to " get into that" ? Have you witnessed something that you wouldn’t have before?
I’m trying to understand if what I see as an outsider on social media has any or some translation in day to day life.

I think it’s more kept private than openly discussed in public these days.

In the business world I completely avoid it and only discuss the issues with very few friends who lean each way.
As a Northener living in the South, I am reminded daily of the political divide… My neighbors have a Trump flag. …and it is not uncommon to see a Confederate flag waving from a pickup truck. I think it is in poor taste to advertise your political leanings…I tend to hang out with my like minded group.
